    Paint brush lapel pins

Posted by Charlotte Flynt on Feb 13th 2014

Our Republican Women's Club are Painting our state RED this election. As a fund raiser to purchase individual dictionaries for 3rd graders in our county, we have painted the silver brushes with red enamel paint on the lower half of the bristles, and for every pin we sell the profits will buy one dictionary.

    Golden Paintbrush Award

Posted by Barbara Walters on Oct 7th 2007

Award will be give to three women who spent the long hot summer painting Church Sunday School rooms when the "professional" painters in the congregation couldn't find the time. It was a fun and very tiring process. we found that woodwork was actually made of cardboard and presented many challenges inpainting. A flourescent light was broken while trying to clean ceiling with a duster. These rooms hadn't bveen touched in many years.
