You are the wind in our sails
We were extremely happy with our StockPins order. Our pins were received on time and were exactly what we wanted. I even received a personal phone call, when some of my credit card information was wrong.
My husband and I own a non-profit company, Leeward Industries. We operate two charitable thrift stores. These stores receive donated merchandise and sell it. The profits from our sales are used to support local food pantries. Out stores are located in York, ME. ( Leeward Landing) and Salisbury, MA. (Leeward Light). Since February 2009 ( that is when our first store opened) we have exceeded $40,000 in donations.
Our stores are run by a mainly volunteer staff. Even our paid employees volunteer additional time. On November 6, 2009 we held our first "Volunteer Appreciation Dinner". Our company logo is a sail, the word leeward is a sailing term. We ordered 50 gold sailboat lapel pins from your company. We attached each one to a small card that read : "You are the wind in our sails. Thank you! ". All of our volunteers were very touched by the token and I am seeing that they are wearing their pins when they arrive to work .
We look forward to feeding many more families and hosting many more dinners. It is amazing how such a small gift can send such a big message! Thank you.
