I bought this pin for my step-daughter. She is a cosmetolgist and went through a domestic abuse class that gave each participant a pin similar to this one. She lost hers. She was SO thrilled when I gave her this replacement pin. It looks very similar to the original pin she had. Golden scissors were perfect. After politicians in out town nearlylost a Federal Grant for a playground, a group of women took over and in the six months left bvefore money went back to Fed Gov't planned and ordered playgoround equipment doing the best we possibly could for all the people in our community. The politicians couldn't agree o anything, as is normal. The pins are just a little sign of recognition that will be handed out at ribbon cutting in two weeks
